In my mind the design is created with a mix of ancient inserts and embroideries born from a lifetime experience.

 

Linen are blended with antique lace, embroidery, needle whitework and drawn thread.
I just need a quick look to understand the potential of a piece of hemp. 
As a painter, the linen canvas are enriched with detail, playing on the contrast between the thickness of the linen and refinement of lace and fringe work, creating glimmers of light with inserts of lace or chiacchierino, with drawn thread and plots, results of inspired moments.  
Everything is extremely crafted, hand embroidered personally.
Everything is the result of history, sensitivity and a sense of timeless beauty.

This creates unique pieces. Not repeatable.
